Turtles is a new play by John Greiner-Ferris and the inaugural production of Boston Public Works Theater Company, directed by Jeffrey Mosser and produced by Amy West.
Synopsis:
While broken down along the side of the interstate where she has decided to make a home with her two children, Jesus, quite literally, falls into Bella’s and her children’s lives. They decide to run, but not from something, but to something. With her angry fifteen-year-old daughter, Foos, and her twelve-year-old son, Finn, who will only talk in animal, Bella and Jesus make a break. But with Bella’s past chasing her, will she make it? Turtles is a powerful, funny play that shows the power of family and of a woman who won't stop at anything to get what she wants.
Seeking versatile artists to fill the following roles:
JESUS: Latino, 20-something, looks good in a tight pair of jeans and a darn good mechanic
