One of the many things that differentiates us from the traditional theater model is that we don't have to plan a season. In all our diversity, our work is our season. Each playwright will serve as her or his own artistic director to retain creative control. Once each of us has been produced, Boston Public Works will disband in a glorious theatrical celebration.
#1
John Greiner-Ferris My plays are littered with the detritus of life: whiskey bottles, ex-lovers, and Jesus Christ himself. |
#2
Cassie M. Seinuk I love to write tragedies -- quirky, sexy, meta, and sometimes laugh-out-loud tragedies. I'm a serial character killer. |
#3
Emily K. Lazzaro I write plays about women and/or death; I challenge the concept of the neutral, relatable protagonist; I will make you laugh about miscarriages. |
#4
Jess Foster My plays explore the currents of subtleties to their seismic ends. No matter how tragic the situation, comedy is always present. |
#5
Kevin Mullins I write epic plays. So grab a sandwich before you read one of my scripts. |
#6
Jim Dalglish I try to write plays that will change your mind, rip out your heart, and haunt you for the rest of your life. All I need is an audience to come along for the ride. |
#7
Laura Neubauer My plays live in places that people tend to avoid. Come on in, see what you're missing. |
