Playwright #7  Laura  Neubauer

Laura Neubauer is a Boston-based playwright and Visiting Lecturer at Bridgewater State University. She is a creator of the Interim Writers' Accomplice, a playwrights' collective dedicated to making Boston a hub for new-play development.   Neubauer’s work has been produced at the Salt Lake Shakespeare Company, Theatre O in Boulder, CO and the Nevada Conservatory Company as well as in numerous short-play festivals around the country. Her full-length play, The Chasm, was a semi-finalist for the 2009 David Mark Cohen National Playwriting Award. More recently her short play, Queen Bee, became a finalist for the Arizona Centennial Playwriting Competition and took home an award for best script at Wasatch Theatre Company's Page-to-Stage Festival in Salt Lake City.
