Playwright #6  Jim  Dalglish

Picture
"Unsafe"
Over the course of his peripatetic life, Jim has dipped his fingers in quite a few pies – theatrical and otherwise.  Dividing his time between Boston and Cape Cod, Jim is currently a playwright, theatrical producer and digital marketing strategist. (He’ll let you guess which one pays the bills.)  His passion, however, is his plays.  Quite a few have been produced, many have been well-reviewed, a few have won awards, and two have been published in anthologies.

He’s busy these days collaborating with Lynda Sturner – a playwright and actress – on a full-length play that is being developed with the Directors and Playwrights Unit of The Actors Studio in New York.  The McCarter Theater in Princeton, New Jersey, will present a reading of the play in March.  Closer to Boston, the Cotuit Center for the Arts on Cape Cod has commissioned him to write a new play that he must complete soon.  Very soon.

Jim is a member of The Accomplices – a wonderful collaborative of playwrights whose brilliance humbles him daily.  You can discover more about Jim, read about his awards and productions and download his plays at www.jimdalglish.com.
