We sold out Friday night, with only a couple of seats left on Saturday night. The seats went so fast on Friday night that even John, the playwright, had to scramble for a ticket because in all the madness of tech week, he had forgotten to get a ticket for himself. He ended up getting comped by the BCA.
At the Saturday matinee, two patrons, Veronica and Eric, chose to see Turtles to celebrate their respective birthdays. They said they wanted to celebrate their birthdays by going to a play, saw the writeup of Turtles on the BCA site, and picked us. That's theater. People connecting through art.
We have a few days off to rest and launder the costumes, then we start again on Wednesday with Industry Night/pay-what-you-can-$6-minimum with a talkback with the playwright led by Adara Meyers, of Sleeping Weazle.
