The wheels are turning as we prepare for our first production. Director Jeff Mosser, Producer Amy West, and I have begun meeting, and it is so exciting and scary at the same time as we brainstorm all the crazy things we want to do on stage, and plan and start to draw up that list of "Things That Need To Get Done."
Cassie M. Seinuk, P2, created what I feel is a delightful poster for Turtles. In the stage directions, I intentionally refer to Bella, Foos, and Finn as "our little family", a tiny group of people who I see as being so fragile and strong in this huge world, and I feel Cassie's image of a turtle dwarfed by the road that its about to cross captures exactly the vulnerability of our little family, and the dangers it faces.

And audtions are planned for the end of March. We will be looking for two women to play multiple characters, and we encourage actresses of all ethnicities and ages to audition. We will also be looking for a Latino actor in his twenties who looks good in a tight pair of jeans to play the role of Jesus.
